A permanent resident or Canadian citizen can call their parents or grandparents on immediate basis for a temporary long term visit on the basis of Super Visa. Super visa allows the parents/grandparents to visit and stay with their children/grandchildren for up to 2 years in Canada. Super Visa is valid for around 10 years. Renewals are required after 24 months. During the stay of 2 years the Immigration process for parents/grandparents can also be initialized by their children/grandchildren from Canada.

The children or grandchildren need to meet the minimal income requirement as per LICO (Low income cut off) plus 30% rise every year as per guidelines of IRCC to apply for Super Visa.
